Pitter Patter Day Nursery

Our baby unit consists of 2 rooms which are divided into babies 6 weeks – 15 months and older more mobile babies 15 months – 24 months.
The children each have a daily report sheet to take home which enables parents to see exactly what their child has achieved during the day. This includes food they have eaten, nappy changes, sleep times and play activities etc..
We work alongside the,’Birth to three matters’ framework to support children in their earliest years. Each child is allocated a key worker who will take a special interest in all their developmental needs and written observations are carried out regularly in their development book.

My name is Gerry. I’ve worked in child-care for over 30 years, 20 of which I spent with children with special needs. I have an NNEB qualification which I gained in 1970. I have four children of my own, plus two step-sons and three grandchildren with another on the way. I really enjoy working with children and feel they learn better when they are having fun.
