Pitter Patter Day Nursery - Toddler Section

Our toddler section consists of 4 indoor themed rooms, an outdoor playroom and a large spacious garden.
Each room provides the children with various activities structured around,’Birth to three matters’, and the ‘Foundation Phase’. The rooms are carefully planned to make learning fun and to meet individuals’ social.physical, intellectual and emotional needs.

Each child has their own key worker who carries out the day to day written observations and is responsible for recording information in the childs development books.

My name is Diane and I have been in Pitter Patter for 4 years. I have been a qualified nursery nurse since 1988 and have 2 outgoing teenage sons. As well as being assistant deputy manager I also manage the catering section and ensure that all the children enjoy a healthy and well balanced menu.

I feel that children are individuals and should be free to express themselves openly. Parents and
visitors often comment on the happy sounds of the children’s laughter and voices.
